Through elevated vessels that channeled into an enclosed cabin and a single pipe that led back out into the exhibition space, an open circuit was established. During the exhibition, visitors inserted their hands through two holes and an unexpected hand-washing procedure began. Since there was no visual contact between artist and participant, the tactile exchange became an intimate communication laced with sexual evocations through the use of soap and lotion, which were tenderly applied. The residual water was then jarred.
